On a rainy New Years Eve in 2020, Kris and I met for our first date. We enjoyed a dinner at a local Japanese restuarant. We met after talking for about 2 weeks on the phone. Yes, we met like more then 50% of couples do now, online. Our first date lasted over 5 hours and required a hefty tip to our patient waitress where we had taken up a valuable table on a holiday. The conversation was non- stop and we belly laughed the entire night. Instantly, we knew we had a deep connection and we discovered that even though we lived in Florida, we grew up 9 miles from each other, in different small towns in Massachusettes. Within months, Kris and I knew that we had found something unique and special. We were engaged that following September, where he proposed at our favorite restuarant, The Sunset Grille, in Perdido Key, Florida and yes, it was at sunset. The next few years our love continued to grow. Our wedding date is set for 4 and a half years from our first meeting on that rainy night, almost to the day. Kris and I will be solidifying our love in a ceremony at our Ranch in Cache, Oklahoma. We are excited to be married at our new home with friends and family.
